I love you all and so sorry to learn of this news today I remember when we was kids and the fun we all had with her and David.
Family of Debra Shively,
There are few things more difficult than experiencing the loss of a loved one. It is apparent from the many kind expressions that Mrs. Shively will be sadly missed. I too have endured such a loss and find comfort in knowing death was not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed.
God’s word says 'death is an enemy' and promises it will be 'brought to nothing'. (1Corinthians 15:26) Further, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8). So, God guarantees the grief and sorrow we experience is temporary. (Revelation 21:4). It is because of Jehovah God’s purpose and great love for us, that he guarantees the restoration of life.
Jesus not only spoke of the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), he himself was resurrected by his Father and performed many miracles including resurrections. All resurrections took place on earth giving us a precious glimpse of what is to come.......seeing our loved ones again! (Acts 24:15)
As you cherish the many fond memories of Mrs. Shively, may Jehovah God continue to bless your family during this difficult time and in the days to come......
