Lorie A. Crowder-Zawicki, 44, Gas City, passed away at 12:05 a.m. at Marion General Hospital on Sunday, March 31, 2019. She was born in Marion on January 13, 1975.
Lorie graduated from Mississinewa High School and worked at a local hotel where she was a receptionist. She married Richard Zawicki, and they have three children: Kayla, Tyler, and Ryan.
She enjoyed making jewelry, cooking, and artwork. She always went out of her way to help others in any way possible. Lori touched many lives with her loving ways.
Survivors include her husband, Richard; mother, Teresa Smith, Gas City; daughter, Kayla Wright, Fort Wayne; sons: Tyler Wright, Gas City, and Ryan Zawicki, Amherst, NY; sister, Kayla Potter-Sims, Winslow; step-sisters, Julie Zarobinski, Westfield, and Jenny Smith, Westfield; grandfather, Norman Gulley, Marion; many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law; mother-in-law, Ann Zawicki, Amherst, NY; and father-in-law, Joe Zawicki, Amherst, NY.
Preceding her in death were her grandmother, Deloris “Dee” Gulley; father, Jeffrey Crowder; grandmother, LaVonn Shippley; grandfather, James Shippley; and son, Brandon Michael Crowder-Wright.
At the family’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
