Aunt Hazel was a wonderful woman, loved and cared about many putting others 1st before herself. I will never forget the time we visited her in Indiana on vacation and Wendy and myself made candles in the basement and got the wax everywhere. We got in trouble and was told to clean it up.
This was in Aunt Hazel's basement. We ended up flooding the basement. All the while I am hearing Aunt Hazel saying you girls better get that cleaned up, later that evening or the next day a chocolate pudding fight broke out between Aunt Hazel and my dad her brother. We had a wonderful time during our vacation. That poor house on Houck Street. I also will always remember the gifts that were brought to my sister and I one Christmas secretly by her and Ronnie Verney, yet to the day she left us never confessed of her good will to make us smile on Christmas. She will be greatly missed and there are so many other memories that I could write a book about. You will always have a special place in my heart. Loving you from earth while you are resting in heaven. Love you always, Your niece, Penny Diane♡♡♡
